A vital part of creating a habit is making it enjoyable, so add a social element to your routine by joining a club or teaming up with friends.
2. Commit to a date
Choosing a date to work towards is pretty good motivation for staying on track as it gives you an endpoint to look forward to. Sign yourself up for that marathon you’ve always wanted to do, or find an event that requires you to get in shape before a certain day.
3. Use technology
You are much more likely to keep to your goals when you see the data that your effort produces. Fitness trackers act as a personal trainer for your wrist, logging your progress, documenting your sleep, and motivating you to keep going.
